Lizzy Devlin Scholarship Fund

The Amber Reineck House announced the establishment of the Lizzy Devlin Scholarship Fund in 2019, and in 2020 we opened our first women's recovery home in Livingston County.  

In support of our mission, all monies donated to this fund will  provide financial assistance to Livingston County residents (male or female) seeking recovery housing through our partner, Home of New Vision in Ann Arbor, or other qualified recovery services provider partners.  

Lizzy's Story

Elizabeth Rose Devlin ("Lizzy") passed away from Substance Use Disorder on April 16, 2016.  Lizzy was a very talented, beautiful, and loving individual, who in life was a supporter of all that struggled, were in need of help, or troubled.

She unexpectedly passed in 2016 and her family pledged to get involved in some way with recovery efforts to make a difference in Lizzy's memory.  They are working along side with Amber Reineck House and are making a difference so that no other family will experience the profound grief and loss from losing a loved one to Substance Use Disorder.
The Amber Reineck House has partnered with the Home of New Vision in Ann Arbor for supportive and recovery housing.  Livingston county residents in need of financial support can apply for this scholarship through Home of New Vision. Through our scholarship, qualified individuals will be eligible to receive assistance with their intake fees and first month's programming fees / rent in a recovery home.

By clicking on the link above, your donation to this fund will provide additional monies to allow us to provide financial assistance to an even greater number of Livingston County individuals seeking long-term recovery housing and support.  This is a way to give back and be able to directly impact someone else in need.
